Palanga Amber Museum tells about the origin of amber, history and role of it in the life of Couronians and other Balts. Exhibitions highlight the importance of amber both in trade and worship rituals and its relation to ancient mythological images. Balts associated the warm colour of amber with the Sun and fire.
