Baltic Unity Day is like a bridge connecting Lithuanians and Latvians. This year Baltic Unity annual event was held in Palanga city. From the early Saturday morning a crowd of people from Lithuania and Latvia participated in the festive fair, tournament of Baltic dishes barbecue, photo project “The Baltics United Us”, tourism forum and etc.
International tourism forum “Balts Road: Perspective of Cultural Tourism” invited all enthusiasts of tourism, local guides, tourism experts, travelers. At the beginning of the forum International Cultural Route “Balts‘ Road“ project was presented. All project partners from Lithuania and Latvia presented their activities, aims and expected results. Representative of the National Regional Development Agency highlighted that this innovative project includes the latest technological solutions and presents the Baltic culture not only in the traditional ways of tourism, but also offers virtual reality entertainment, which introduces the Balts handicrafts and unique nature. Participants of International Tourism Forum could see the movie.
