THE ETHNOCULTURAL FARMSTEAD "GERVIŲ GIESMĖ"

The ethnocultural farmstead "Gervių Giesmė" embodies the true spirit of a village, offering tranquility and unique experiences amidst nature. During your stay, you can choose between two cozy cottages: "The Granary under the Oak," which exudes the memories of an ancient village, and "Stuba," designed for larger families or groups of friends. The farmstead invites you to experience the delights of a Baltic sauna, try the ice bath, or spend a night by the fire at the mysterious Jauja. The farmstead offers educational programs that allow visitors to engage in ancient traditions such as weaving, making belts, writing with a goose feather, incense or candle making, and even creating a fire with flint. Children can learn traditional games, listen to tales by the fire, while adults can go on a hike to partisan bunkers or participate in herb gathering lessons. A special experience is a hen party according to ancient traditions, featuring a Baltic sauna, traditional attire, and dancing around the fire. In 2019, the farmstead was recognized as the best ethnocultural rural tourism homestead in Lithuania.
