This exploration-based, creative, and city-building board game invites players to “discover” Šiauliai across three different historical periods – from ancient times to the 17th–20th centuries and finally into a future city of their own design. Players will have the chance to uncover the past of Šiauliai central square while shaping their vision for the city’s future. Throughout the game, they will learn fascinating historical facts and details about evolution of Šiauliai. The game consists of two stages: the first stage – exploration – discover past and historical landmarks of Šiauliai; the second stage – creation – design and build the ideal city you would love to live in.
For students in grades 3-12 and adults.
Can be adapted for other age groups and families. Can be guided by an educator or played independently.
