The Visitor Centre’s exhibition captures the dynamic interplay between land and sea. Upon entering the main hall, visitors are immersed in an underwater atmosphere – when raising their eyes, they will see a stylized shipwreck structure, while in front of them stands a 648-liter aquarium replicating the coastal ecosystem of the Baltic Sea near Karklė Village. The exhibition hall offers an engaging journey through the Park’s natural and cultural heritage, showcasing the unique character of coastal settlements and the traditional livelihoods of their inhabitants. Interactive features allow visitors to test their knowledge of coastal fish, plants, animals, and their habitats.
The Visitor Centre provides information about all the key attractions in the Regional Park. Additionally, an educational area offers activities for children, documentary screenings about the Park, and a chance to purchase unique souvenirs – crafted by local artisans using amber they personally collect from the sea.
