On our way to Vilnius, we make a brief stop in Musninkai. The first records of the town are lost in legends. According to an old version of one legend, when Christianity was introduced in Lithuania, the central temple of the old Lithuanian religion in Vilnius was destroyed, and the high priest of the pagans fled not to Kernavė, but to Musninkai.
