The Museum of Folk Culture in Węgorzewo, established in 1991 and housed in a historic 18th-century manor house, showcases rich ethnographic, historical, and archaeological collections related to Masuria, Warmia, and the areas of origin of the region's inhabitants. Among its exhibits are ancient everyday objects, folk art, a collection of Easter eggs, Masurian postcards, and tiles from the 16th to 19th centuries. The museum also operates an Ethnographic Park with traditional Masurian architecture and handicraft workshops, hosting classes and workshops. The institution plays an important role in documenting and promoting the folk culture of northeastern Poland.
