The Krekenava Regional Park exhibition offers an engaging and visually appealing experience, highlighting the Park’s unique landscape. The greatest natural treasure here is the midway of Nevėžis River, distinguished by its pronounced old terrace valley of Nevėžis, lush meadows, numerous old riverbeds and their remains. The main theme of the exhibition Variety of Old Nevėžis River Beds is presented through an innovative design – an exhibition ribbon that meanders through the space like a flowing river, twisting left and right, rising and falling, just like the ever-changing landscape of the Nevėžis Valley. Visitors will find captivating stories and striking large-scale images illustrating the region’s characteristic landscapes, flora, and fauna. The exhibition also sheds light on human life along the Nevėžis River, showcasing hillforts, manor houses, villages, watermills, and famous historical figures.
The Visitor Centre is fully accessible to people with mobility impairments.
