Join a fun and educational workshop, perfect for both younger and older students! Led by an archaeologist dressed in an Iron Age costume, this engaging session explores ancient clothing from the Stone Age to the 17th century. Students will learn about different threads, fabrics. They will have the opportunity to examine costume reconstructions, and even take photos in historical attire. Additionally, the archaeologist will teach participants how to braid a colourful cord – an authentic element of an archaeological costume. This technique, inspired by Viking traditions, uses small stones for weaving.
